I'm New Here
CPC is a young church that started with nine people meeting in a condo in 2008. Today, we average 80 people each Sunday and hold our worship services at William B. Gibbs Jr. Elementary School in Germantown. Our worship service starts at 11:00 a.m. and most people arrive around 10:50. People dress in something between casual and business casual attire. There are twenty-four parking spaces directly in front of the school. There are also sixty-five parking places in the lot to the right of the school, as well as ample street parking.
When you enter the front doors, you'll be greeted by two people at the welcome table. Please pick up a worship guide. If you have children, please fill out a registration sticker. A nursery is provided during the worship service for infants six months to three years of age; it is staffed by our nursery supervisor and two paid staff workers. Older children stay with their parents through the first part of the worship service. Children ages 3 through fifth grade are then invited to classes tailored to their ages about halfway through the service (just prior to the sermon).
Once you've received your worship guide and registered your children, please proceed down the hallway and follow signs for the worship service.
Here are some FAQs:
What is the style of worship? Our worship service is historic. The liturgy is designed to emulate the Gospel narrative and to be Trinitarian. A sample of our worship guide can be found here.
